Privi commissions a state of the art instrumentation and control system for Amber Fleur and Sandal Chemicals Plant October 31, 2007 - Navi Mumbai, India A state of the art, instrumentation and process control system, supplied by Schneider Electric has been commissioned in the Amber Fleur and Sandalwood chemicals plant. The system is supported by the most modern digital field instruments and control valves. All the discreet field operations will now be controlled from a centralized controlled room. Introducing and commissioning on-line instrumentation and control loops in an existing running plant without any shut downs has been a great achievement for Privi’s instrumentation engineering team. Commissioning of this system has definitely added a new and enhanced dimension to the operations and process capabilities at Privi. This is a major step towards modernization which will go a long way in improving product quality and process efficiency. The premium quality of products, a hallmark of Privi, will get a boost.
